Salary: $17/hr

Our client, a construction company in Northeast San Antonio, is looking for Pallet Repair Operator employees for sorting and repairing of returned pallets. Pay is $17 an hour, with production bonuses available. Duties for the Pallet Repair position include:

• Sort pallets by lifting them onto worktable and inspecting them from top, bottom, and each side
• Replace any defective components on the pallet using supplied tools. These tools include Pneumatic Nail gun, reciprocating saws, and angle grinders.
• Restock lumber and keep workstation clean and organized throughout the day
• Memorize pallet specifications and ensure all pallets processed meet that specification
• Learn, understand, and adhere to all safety policies and procedures for the depot as well as for your role

Requirements for the Pallet Repair Operator:

• Ability to lift and move heavy pallets repeatedly
• Standing for long periods
• Full range of motion required for reaching, bending, and lifting
• Work is performed in a fast-paced production environment
• Pay is based on an incentive plan for both production and quality
• Work is labor intensive and requires repetitive lifting.
