Job Description:
Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Fabricating Equipment Operator for a structural steel fabrication facility. This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced operator familiar with Peddinghaus and Voortman machinery. The role involves operating, setting up, and maintaining fabrication equipment to produce high‑quality steel components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, set up, and maintain structural steel fabrication machines (cutting, drilling, punching)
• Work with Peddinghaus and Voortman equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints and production orders accurately
• Inspect fabricated parts to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Work independently while meeting production goals

Qualifications:

• Experience operating Peddinghaus and Voortman structural steel equipment required
• Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication processes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality production
• Must pass background check and drug screen
