Bookkeeper Accounts Receivable & Billing Specialist – Freeport, FL | $60K–$70K

• Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable & Billing Specialist to support a growing operation in Freeport, FL. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and confident managing invoicing, billing, and financial records in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
Manage invoicing, billing, and accounts receivable processes. Ensure accuracy of financial records and customer accounts. Work closely with internal teams to track job costs and payments. Handle discrepancies and maintain organized documentation.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of billing processes, financial recordkeeping, and accounts receivable management.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and best practices related to handling customer information and financial data.
• Strong numerical skills and ability to accurately process financial information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience using QuickBooks and other Intuit products.
• Familiarity with AIA billing, contracts, and construction-related invoicing.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Results-driven with the ability to meet deadlines and follow up on outstanding receivables.
• Proficiency in English required; bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus.
• Experience with construction billing software and payment applications (e.g., AIA).
• Understanding of company-wide and project-specific budgets.
• Experience in construction, industrial, or similar industries is a plus but not required.
