Position Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor plays a critical role in driving daily distribution center operations. This position leads frontline associates to ensure merchandise is received, stored, picked, and shipped accurately, safely, and on time. You’ll partner closely with management, training, HR, and WMS teams to keep operations running at peak performance.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and oversee daily inbound or outbound warehouse operations
• Review WMS reports and proactively address system issues or shutdowns
• Apply Standard Operating Procedures to solve problems and escalate issues as needed
• Plan daily production goals and ensure staffing levels meet operational needs
• Analyze performance, productivity, and quality metrics; identify improvement opportunities
• Use the Productivity Improvement Plan process to drive continuous improvement
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly staffing and labor reviews with department leadership
• Partner with Training to track new hire development and performance
• Maintain accurate employee records and timekeeping
• Support and promote safety programs to prevent injuries and create a safe work environment
• Conduct employee coaching, counseling, annual reviews, and merit evaluations
• Interview, select, and onboard new team members in partnership with HR
• Take appropriate disciplinary action, up to and including termination, when required

What You Bring

• Solid understanding of warehouse operations (inbound or outbound)
• Knowledge of inventory control and distribution center workflows
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Confident communicator with proven conflict‑resolution and one‑on‑one coaching skills
• Comfortable using technology, including:
  • Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Timekeeping/payroll systems such as KRONOS

Experience & Education

• 2+ years of supervisory or team‑lead experience
• Distribution center experience strongly preferred
• Automated warehouse environment experience is a plus
• WMS experience preferred
