Job Summary
Express is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Crown Forklift Operator to join our clients dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, and stack products within the warehouse. This role requires a strong attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

Duties

• Operate forklifts, from the Crown brand, to transport materials safely throughout the warehouse.
• Perform order picking tasks accurately using a warehouse management system to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.
• Load and unload products from trucks and containers while adhering to safety protocols.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist in inventory management by accurately counting and recording stock levels.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to minimize risks and hazards in the workplace.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating Crown branded forklifts, is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
• Basic math skills for inventory counting and order processing tasks.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job.
• Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and best practices is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
