Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and highly organized Dispatcher to support storm response operations in the Metro Detroit area. This is a part-time, on-call position activated during storm events and emergency situations. The Dispatcher plays a critical role in coordinating field teams, ensuring timely response, and maintaining clear communication during high-pressure conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• MUST have strong Excel, Gsheet experience.
• MUST respond to incoming calls and prioritize urgent requests
• Coordinate and dispatch field crews in response to storm-related service calls
• Communicate with technicians, drivers, and leadership in real time
• Monitor job progress, track crew locations, and update statuses
• Maintain accurate logs of dispatch times, arrivals, and job completion
• Ensure all safety protocols and response procedures are followed
• Support rapid decision-making in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment

Qualifications:

• Previous dispatch, logistics, or operations experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
• Comfortable using phones, computers, and tracking systems
• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, during storm events

Work Schedule:

• Part-time, on-call based on storm activity
• Shifts may include extended hours depending on operational needs
