Material Handler - 1st Shift and 3rd Shift Available

Salary: $18.89 - $19.89/hour

As a MATERIAL HANDLER you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately moving material physically and electronically to keep track of product inventory for this food manufacturing facility in West Haven, CT 
This position requires prior forklift and computer skills. 

SHIFTS AVAILABLE: 
First Shift - Sunday - Thursday 7:00am - 3:30pm 
Third Shift - Monday - Friday 11:00pm - 7:30am 

·         Physically moves, racks, and electronically scans raw material and or finished goods.

·         Loads or unloads palletized, and floor loaded trucks as required.  Re-stacks pallets if necessary.

·         Use the handheld scanner to perform transfers, entries and any other required transactions.

·         Use a forklift and or scissor lift as necessary to access and move the product.

·         Responsible and accountable for meeting established productivity and quality requirements.

·         Recommends productivity, efficiency, quality and safety improvements to management.

·         Performs tasks in compliance with pick tickets, SOP’s, and any other required documentation.

·         Complies with all company policies.

·         Works in a safe manner.

·         Checks work for accuracy.

·         Completes additional tasks and projects as assigned by management.

 

Due to operating machinery, and the nature of their production, it is a NON THC facility.   Pre Employment screening will be conducted by the agency prior to your assignment and upon conversion to a full time employee.
