Job Title: Assembly Associate (Short-Term Project)

Pay: $15/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Duration: A few weeks (temporary assignment)

Overview

A local retail store is seeking a reliable, hands-on Assembly Associate to assist with assembling various spring and summer products. This role fits someone who is mechanically inclined, can work independently, and stays on task with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble a variety of seasonal items, including:
  • Outdoor and patio furniture
  • Lawn and garden equipment
  • Lawn mowers and small outdoor machinery
• Follow diagrams, manuals, and safety guidelines
• Ensure completed items are safe, functional, and retail-ready
• Keep the workspace organized and clean
• Meet daily assembly expectations
• Report any issues or missing parts to the onsite lead

Qualifications

• Ability to safely use basic hand tools and power tools
• Mechanical aptitude and ease following assembly instructions
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to work independently with minimal oversight
• Dependable attendance
• Able to lift and move items (up to ~50 lbs)
