Guest Service Representative (Hotel)

Pay: $19–$20 per hour
Availability: Open availability required; weekend shifts included

Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and reliable Guest Service Representative to join our hotel team. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming first impression, assisting guests throughout their stay, and ensuring smooth front desk operations. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately
  • Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Handle reservations, phone calls, payments, and front desk administrative tasks
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to meet guest needs
  • Maintain accurate guest records and follow hotel policies and procedures

Expected Results

  • Guests feel welcomed, supported, and satisfied throughout their stay
  • Front desk operations run smoothly with minimal errors
  • Guest concerns are resolved promptly, contributing to positive reviews and repeat stays

  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS)

Experience Required

  • Previous customer service experience required
  • Hospitality, hotel, or front-desk experience preferred
  • Experience with reservations, cash handling, and payment processing is a plus
  • Familiarity with hotel PMS systems preferred but not required
