Job Description:

 

Express Employment is looking for 1st and 2nd shift metal fabricators. As a member of a production team, you will be responsible for operating the laser table, press brake, and saws.

 

Pay: $20.25/hr

Shift: 2nd

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Upload programmed nests per work instructions
• Load and unload sheet material, operate overhead bridge & jib crane
• Inspect and correct parts for cut quality and size
• Form parts to print and inspect as required
• Set up jobs by changing dies and punches multiple times per day
• Organize parts for the weld department
• Maintain equipment with daily & weekly TPM’s
• Ensure a safe & clean work area

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Strong math skills
• Ability to visualize 3D geometry
• Interpret engineering prints
• Use measuring instruments with precision (.001” and .25 deg.)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Computer skills and aptitude
• Preferred background in working with sheet metal

Physical Requirements:

• Safely perform essential job functions consistent with industry standards
• Maintain regular, punctual attendance
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
