Are you a detail-oriented worker looking to build a career in industrial coatings? Express Employment Professionals of Metairie is seeking a reliable Paint Mixer / Industrial Painter Assistant for a major facility in Belle Chasse.

Expert Mixing: Assist in the preparation and mixing of industrial paints, epoxies, and coatings according to specific formulas and manufacturer guidelines.
Surface Prep: Help the lead painters prepare metal or industrial surfaces for coating, including cleaning, sanding, and masking.
Equipment Care: Clean and maintain spray guns, mixing tools, and pressure pots to ensure they are ready for the next shift.
Inventory Control: Monitor paint and solvent levels, ensuring the team has the supplies needed to stay on schedule.
Safety First: Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper handling of hazardous materials and consistent use of PPE (respirators, gloves, etc.).
Experience: Previous experience in an industrial shop, warehouse, or painting environment is a major plus.
Technical Mindset: Ability to follow precise mixing ratios and read technical data sheets.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift paint buckets (up to 50 lbs) as needed.
Reliability: Consistent attendance is a must for this Monday–Friday schedule.
Compliance: Must be able to pass a 5-panel drug test and a comprehensive background check.
