Forklift Operator (Counterbalance)
Location: Guelph, ON -
Schedule: Monday to Friday 3:15 pm - 11:15 pm – Full Time
Express Employment Professionals is recruiting on behalf of a local organization for a Counterbalance Forklift Operator
Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to transport materials and products within the warehouse and between departments safely and efficiently
- Load and unload trucks in the Shipping & Receiving area and stage materials for storage or production
- Support warehouse operations by organizing, stacking, and moving pallets while following all company safety procedures and equipment inspection requirements
- Experience handling and transporting materials using forklifts and other material handling equipment
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Counterbalance forklift experience required
- Experience working in a warehouse, shipping, or receiving environment
- Basic mathematical skills
- Knowledge of OHSA safety regulation
- Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs. - physical demand - lifting, bending, standing and moving for extended periods
