We are hiring a Flooring Customer Service Rep for a reputable company. This role is ideal for someone with flooring industry experience who enjoys working directly with customers and supporting the full project lifecycle from product selection to job completion.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet walk-in customers and provide a welcoming showroom experience
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist with customer inquiries
• Maintain the flooring showroom, ensuring samples are clean, organized, and displayed properly
• Work with vendor reps on showroom resets and product updates
• Assist homeowners with flooring selections, including tile, hardwood, and carpet
• Order product samples, receive shipments, and notify customers when ready for pickup
• Measure house plans and assist with material calculations as needed
• Communicate with distributors to confirm product availability and pricing
• Enter job estimates in QuickBooks accurately and efficiently
• Help create installation packages for installers, including necessary job details
• Create, organize, and maintain customer and job files

 

Requirements:

• Previous experience in the flooring industry (required)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar estimating/invoicing software preferred
• Knowledge of flooring materials, measurements, and installation processes
