Scheduling Coordinator $24
Located in Kingston, MA
In this role, you will support the management of service schedules, optimizing technician routes, and ensuring timely service for our clients. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, has excellent communication skills, and can quickly learn scheduling software (Jobber). Prior experience in a field service industry is highly preferred, particularly in the landscaping industry as industry knowledge will be critical for longer term success.
Fulltime, temp to hire!
Pay is $22-30/hour. Lower end for junior or support type of roles that will require extensive training and learning curve.
The higher end is for those with proven experience, excellent reference, and ability to jump in with minimal ramp up time.
Key Responsibilities:
Service Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule appointments for landscaping, irrigation, or fertilizer services (as assigned).
Optimize Routes: Assign technicians to jobs efficiently to maximize productivity.
Client Communication: Confirm service dates, provide updates, and address customer inquiries or issues.
Jobber Software Management: Use Jobber scheduling software to track and update appointments and job status.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with technicians and department leads to manage schedules.
Follow-Up & Adjustments: Monitor progress and make schedule changes as needed.
Customer Satisfaction: Ensure services are delivered on time, maintaining high client satisfaction.
Administrative Support: Assist with data entry, reporting, invoicing and/or other administrative tasks as needed.
Invoicing: Review prior scheduled visits for follow up requirements or to invoice for completed work.
Learn: You will have to learn the industry and specific field service that you will be supporting so that you will have applicable and critical thinking skills. We expect a high drive to learn in the beginning and an ongoing ability and proactive desire to continuously learn and improve.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with Jobber or similar Field Service Scheduling Software (preferred)
Experience in a Field or Home Service Industry (1+ years preferred)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new software
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple schedules
Customer-focused with problem-solving abilities
