Location: Texarkana, TX

Hours: M-F, 8a-5p

Pay: $16/hour

 

THIS POSITION WILL BE A LONG-TERM TEMPORARY POSITION, LASTING ROUGHLY 12 WEEKS! 

 

The Quality Control Clerk in the Lending Department is responsible for reviewing and verifying loan documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and completeness. This role plays a key part in maintaining the integrity of the lending process by identifying and correcting errors, confirming loan rates, and supporting overall quality assurance efforts. The position also serves as a backup to the Loan Receptionist as needed.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Review loan documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
• Verify loan rates, terms, and disclosures to ensure correctness
• Identify errors or discrepancies in loan files and coordinate corrections with appropriate staff
• Maintain detailed and organized records of quality control reviews
• Assist in ensuring all loan documentation meets internal and external audit requirements
• Communicate findings and recommendations to lending staff in a timely and professional manner
• Provide administrative support to the lending team as needed
• Serve as backup to the Loan Receptionist, including answering phones, greeting members, and directing inquiries

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in finance or business preferred
• Previous experience in lending, banking, or administrative support is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
