Material Handler

Located in Berlin, WI

Salary: $17.85/HR

TEMPORARY MATERIAL HANDLER POSITION

Hours: Monday-Thursday 5:30am-3:30pm

* OT as needed on Friday from 5:30am-1:30pm

Pay: $17.85/HR

Duties:

• Pick and deliver warehoused parts to designated assembly areas to support efficient production flow

• Operate forklifts and other material‑handling equipment safely and effectively

• Maintain accurate material transactions within the ERP system

• Follow all safety procedures and support company safety initiatives

• Perform daily forklift inspections and report any issues

• Maintain stock areas, ensuring organization, cleanliness, and proper inventory levels

• Collaborate closely with production lines to ensure timely material availability

• Identify and resolve basic material‑flow or inventory issues

• Participate in team meetings and share job‑related information

• Demonstrate consistent attendance, quality, and attention to detail

• Complete assigned tasks following established procedures, processes, and policies

• Support continuous improvement efforts within the department

Qualifications: 

• 0–2 years of experience in material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing environments

• Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to be trained and certified

• Basic problem‑solving skills with the ability to follow defined procedures

• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team

• Strong work ethic with a positive, professional attitude

• Ability to learn and apply principles, practices, and processes related to the role

• Comfortable working under daily or weekly supervision with frequent review for accuracy

• Demonstrated responsibility, reliability, and follow‑through on commitments

• Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment

• Basic computer skills; experience with ERP systems preferred
