Job Description

Express Employment Professionals is hiring experienced Manufacturing Associates for a textile production environment in the Greensboro / High Point, NC area. This is a full-time opportunity working with non-woven textile machinery, producing high-quality polyester materials.

We are seeking candidates with strong tenure (2–3 years per position required) and prior experience in textile manufacturing, weaving, or machine operation. This is a hands-on role requiring consistency, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain production quality.

Responsibilities

As a Textile Manufacturing Associate, your responsibilities will include:

Operating non-woven textile production machinery to produce polyester fabrics.
Manually loading materials, including placing small spindles (~8 lbs) onto larger spindles for processing.
Assisting with spinning and handling of textile materials during production.
Monitoring machine functions and adjusting settings to maintain production efficiency and quality.
Performing quality control inspections on finished materials (weight, strength, texture, and appearance).
Conducting routine machine checks and assisting with basic maintenance.
Troubleshooting minor machine issues to minimize downtime.
Maintaining accurate production logs, including machine performance and material usage.
Stacking and organizing finished materials onto pallets.
Maintaining a clean and safety-compliant work environment.

Requirements

2–3 years of tenure in each previous position REQUIRED.
Prior experience in textile manufacturing, weaving, or machine operation strongly preferred.
Experience manually loading materials into machines.
Ability to perform repetitive lifting and physical tasks throughout the shift.
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Skills & Qualifications

Textile or weaving experience (highly preferred).
Machine operation in a manufacturing environment.
Understanding of production flow and material handling.
Quality control and inspection experience.
Ability to work independently and maintain productivity.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Shifts & Hours

1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Full-Time
Overtime may be available based on production needs

Location: Greensboro, NC & High Point, NC

Pay & Benefits

$17.00 – $19.00 per hour, based on experience.
Weekly pay through Express Employment Professionals.
