We are seeking a dedicated DZ Delivery Driver to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles, primarily box trucks, to deliver goods efficiently and reliably to various locations. Your primary focus will be on providing excellent customer service while ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, experience with warehouse operations, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting and moving. Day shift : Monday to Friday 7.00am - 4.00pm

Pay: $25.00/hour

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck with manual transmission to deliver products according to scheduled routes
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts or pallet jacks, ensuring proper handling and securement of goods
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety standards
• Manage route driving efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and company policies
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory and organizing stock for delivery
• Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of packages, ensuring safety protocols are followed
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain signatures upon delivery completion
• Collaborate with team members to optimize routes and improve delivery processes
• Report any vehicle issues or delays promptly to ensure smooth operations

Experience

• Full DZ license with a clear driver's abstract, and verifiable reference
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Prior experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmission
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Strong background in customer service and route driving logistics
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with moving goods
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and cargo handling
• Demonstrated reliability in load & unload procedures and maintaining delivery schedules
