Job Title: Certified HVAC Technician Salary: DOE
The Certified HVAC Technician will install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and components.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC systems.
Perform regular preventative maintenance on heating and cooling systems.
Ensure compliance with all HVAC codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding service details, recommendations, and system status.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
High school diploma or equivalent.
EPA Section 608 Certification required.
Valid HVAC certification/license (state-specific, if applicable).
2+ years of HVAC experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Comfortable working in varying conditions, including extreme temperatures and tight spaces.
