Cabinet Maker / Woodworker

Salary: $25.00 to $35.00

Our exclusive client, Rovee Cabinetry & Woodwork, located in Vars, ON, is looking for a Cabinet Maker / Woodworker to join the team and support the growing workload. Required skills and qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of millwork and/or cabinet making experience (carpentry/framing is not sufficient)
• Experience using various woodworking tools (saws, router, CNC, sander, edge banding, etc.)
• Post-secondary education in cabinet making considered an asset
• Ability to read/interpret technical drawings
• Ability to learn and use CNC program
• Comfortable working in both imperial (90%) and metric (10%) measurements
• Excellent attention to detail
• Eagerness and willingness to learn new skills and best practices

Duties may include but are not limited to:

• Read plans and construction techniques
• Build and assemble custom cabinets, millwork and related components
• Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
• Measure, cut, shape and assemble wood and laminate materials
• Ensure work meets quality standards and project specifications
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Work independently to complete projects within deadlines
• Other duties as assigned

Starting Wage Range: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour depending on experience

Work schedule: Monday to Thursday – 7:30am to 4:00pm; Fridays – 7:30am to 2:30pm (paid until 4pm). 40 hours per week.
