We have been asked by a client in Westfield, IN to help them find Irrigation Service Technicians to join their team. In this role you will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair irrigation systems while providing professional, high-quality service and clear communication to customers. You will work both independently and with team members to ensure systems operate efficiently and clients receive exceptional care.

 

Pay, Hours, & Benefits

• Salary: $45,000 – $70,000 per year ($21.65 - $33.65 per hour), depending on experience
• Schedule: Full-time
• Employment Status: As a Service Technician you will start as an hourly employee through our company while you are training and onboarding. Our client's goal is to hire several Irrigation Service Technicians permanently.

What will you do as an Irrigation Service Technician?

• Diagnose and repair irrigation system issues, including hydraulic and electrical components
• Perform seasonal start-ups, shut-downs, and system adjustments
• Deliver courteous, professional service with clear communication to clients
• Maintain accurate service logs, reports, and documentation
• Manage multiple service calls independently while collaborating as needed
• Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency and performance
• Follow best practices and uphold high-quality workmanship
• Participate in an initial ride-along phase with a senior technician for validation and skill confirmation

What qualifications will you have as an Irrigation Service Technician?

• Backflow certification (or willingness to obtain through employer)
• Strong understanding of irrigation systems, including hydraulic and electrical components
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Strong organization, time-management, and attention to detail
• Ability to propose improvements and apply creative thinking
• Team-oriented, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and ability to speak English
