Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18–$19 per hour

 

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a motivated and dependable AP/AR Specialist to support their accounting operations. This role is responsible for managing outgoing payments, processing vendor invoices, and accurately recording short-term company debts. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a structured office environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and issue payments owed to vendors and other creditors
• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices and bills
• Record and maintain accurate accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Track and document short-term company debts and payment schedules
• Reconcile discrepancies and assist with basic account maintenance
• Utilize Microsoft applications to manage financial records and data
• Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation
• Support the accounting team with additional duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or accounting support preferred; open to the right entry-level candidate
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft applications
• Ability to learn quickly and follow established processes
