Schedule: M-F: 7a-4p

 

About the Role

Express is hiring mechanically inclined individuals for a client to work on heavy-duty trucks performing inspections, minor repairs, and installing aftermarket components.

This is a great opportunity for:

• Diesel or automotive technicians
• OR manufacturing/assembly professionals with strong mechanical skills

 What You’ll Do

• Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on heavy-duty trucks
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and report findings
• Install aftermarket components (lights, accessories, PTOs, pumps, etc.)
• Use hand and power tools daily
• Follow safety procedures and quality standards
• Complete basic documentation and inspection checklists
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

What We’re Looking For
You DON’T need to be a diesel mechanic—but you DO need mechanical ability.

Strong Fit Backgrounds:

• Diesel mechanic / auto technician
• Equipment or maintenance technician
• Manufacturing / assembly with tools experience
• Anyone with hands-on mechanical or troubleshooting experience

 Must-Have Skills

• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Mechanical aptitude (can take things apart & put them back together)
• Ability to troubleshoot basic issues
• Experience working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Strong attention to detail and safety

 Bonus (Not Required)

• Diesel or automotive experience
• Blueprint reading
• Experience with inspections or quality checks
• CDL (or willingness to obtain one)
