Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Pay: $25–$27 per hour

About the Opportunity

This role supports daily shipping operations within a regulated manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include verifying and preparing shipments, coordinating transportation, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting inventory accuracy. The position collaborates closely with Sales, Customer Service, Production, and Operations to ensure efficient material flow and timely delivery.

Duties

• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments using manifests, packing slips, and job travelers.
• Prepare shipping documentation, tracking information, and routing orders in internal systems.
• Record shipment data including weights, charges, discrepancies, and space availability.
• Coordinate transportation and delivery instructions with carrier representatives.
• Resolve shipment issues such as damages, shortages, and nonconforming materials.
• Support Sales and Customer Service with inventory inquiries, quotes, and dimensional details.
• Maintain shipping supply inventory and assist with weekly cycle counts.
• Prioritize daily workloads and support production operations as needed. 

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree or coursework in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, or materials coordination within manufacturing.
• Experience in a regulated industry (medical device, biotech, pharmaceutical, aerospace, etc.).
• Proficiency with inventory management or ERP systems, including pick ticket printing and shipment tracking.
• Strong communication skills for working with internal teams and external carriers.
• High attention to detail with strong accuracy in verifying and documenting shipments.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
