Material Handler

Located in Ben Wheeler, TX

Express Employment Professionals Athens, TX is seeking applicants for a Material Handler position! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in Athens, TX that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!

In this role, you will:

• Perform inventory cycle counts and full physical counts; process adjustments as needed

• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies

• Identify root causes of discrepancies and report findings

• Replenish production stock before requests are made

• Prepare and collect materials for production orders

• Accurately consume stock using department-specific processes

• Maintain clean, organized, and clearly labeled inventory areas

• Follow all established procedures and guidelines

• Conduct recounts as needed to ensure accuracy

• Support and uphold company standards for safety, dress code, and work ethic

• Assist other departments and management as needed

• Perform other duties as assigned

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Moderate computer skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Strong attention to detail

• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
