Position Overview

We are seeking a Certified Operator who can work independently and bring strong knowledge and experience in water and/or wastewater system operations, maintenance, and construction.

The ideal candidate is:

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of multiple water and/or wastewater systems

• Perform routine system checks and maintenance

• Collect water and/or wastewater samples

• Operate, inspect, test, and maintain:

  • Pumps, wells, and tanks

  • Water treatment and storage facilities

  • Air compressors, telemetry systems, and emergency systems

  • Chemical injection and pressure systems

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and contract requirements

• Review permits, discharge requirements, and analytical test results

• Communicate professionally with regulatory agencies

• Complete reports (monthly, quarterly, annually)

• Coordinate tasks, track deadlines, and ensure project completion

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners

• Support multiple supervisors and ongoing operations

• Assist with business development, including meeting clients and preparing proposals
