Express Employment Professionals – Guelph is hiring on behalf of a Canadian clean‑technology engineering company in Guelph/Puslinch that specializes in air emissions control and pollution abatement systems for industrial and municipal applications. We are seeking a motivated Project Manager to oversee projects from planning through delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and customer expectations are met in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from planning through execution, delivery, and post-project review
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets
• Review specifications for major equipment and system designs (P&ID, BOM)
• Manage customer submittals, deadlines, and approvals
• Maintain project data within ERP systems including BOMs, purchase requisitions, and financial tracking
• Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, and external stakeholders to meet project milestones
• Liaise with customers regarding delivery schedules, concerns, and project updates
• Monitor project cost performance and identify opportunities for improvement
• Identify and manage change orders throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinate on-site and remote support during installation
• Schedule start-up, commissioning, and performance testing with Service teams
• Ensure smooth project hand-off to Service Group for start-up and warranty
• Assist with or lead field work as required

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of relevant project management experience (junior candidates will be considered)
• Post-secondary education in Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Practical project management and field experience required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
• Proven problem-solving skills with a team-oriented approach
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Valid passport with ability to travel to the United States
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude and field experience
• PMP designation and/or P.Eng (Asset)
• Experience in construction (especially municipal/wastewater) (Asset)
• Experience in engineering consulting firms (Asset)
• Experience in water/air purification systems (Asset)
• Experience in industrial HVAC (commercial/industrial, non-residential) (Asset)
