About the Role

Our client is seeking a dependable and detail‑oriented Temporary Shipping Operations Clerk to support shipping and inventory operations. This role is responsible for preparing products for shipment, inspecting parts, packing orders accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This hands‑on role is perfect for someone who enjoys staying active, working with precision, and being part of a team that keeps products moving.

Key Responsibilities

• Pull items, supplies, and components for shipments
• Prepare stock for future releases and service operations
• Pack open orders and shipments into prescribed cartons
• Perform visual inspections of products to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and notify supervisors when stock is low
• Communicate with management and departments including inventory, receiving, inspection, and customer service
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow all quality, safety, and company procedures

Physical Requirements

• Ability to visually inspect precision‑machined parts
• Manual dexterity for handling small tools and components
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and move continuously throughout the shift
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs

Qualifications

• Previous shipping or warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math for counting and inventory
• Basic computer skills and strong keyboarding ability
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
