Quality Assurance Check - Days

Express Employment is hiring for a Quality Assurance Technician for a food production company in Vancouver, WA. 

 

 

Job Pay: $19.00 H/R 

 

Hours: Monday - Friday | 7:00AM - 3:30PM |

 

Job Duties: 

• Collect fresh and frozen microbiological samples using statistical sampling methods.
• Collect finished product and packaging retention samples.
• Verify accuracy of scales, weight checkers and metal detectors according to established Standard Operating Procedure’s (SOP).
• Ensure out of specification raw materials and finished products are placed on HOLD per established procedures.
• Perform finished product quality checks per customer specifications and/or USDA grading guidelines.
• Verify product labels, package codes, target weights and packaging artwork.
• Handle chemicals and verify sanitizer concentration levels according to SOP.
• Uphold food safety and quality policies.

SAFETY Dress Code: Please ensure attire is GMP-compliant:

-Employees must wear long pants (no sweatpants, capris, shorts, or clothing with holes, rips, tears, or rhinestones).

-Footwear should be comfortable, closed-toe, closed-heel, and waterproof due to wet and cold conditions.

-Shirt sleeves must be at least T-shirt length or longer.
