Pay Rate: $17.00–$19.00/hr (DOE)

Job Description

Our client is seeking a Forklift Operator to work in their prefabrication (pre-fab) area. This associate will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to move heavy and oversized materials that support production and manufacturing operations.

Essential Functions

• Operate a forklift to move large, heavy, and prefabricated materials
• Load, unload, stage, and transport materials within the pre-fab area
• Supply materials to production areas as needed
• Perform routine safety and equipment checks
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Assist with general material handling and warehouse duties as required

Qualifications

• Prior forklift experience required (manufacturing or industrial environment preferred)
• Ability to safely handle heavy and oversized materials
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
• Dependable with consistent attendance
• Ability to work in a production/manufacturing setting

Work Environment

• Manufacturing / production facility
• Exposure to heavy materials, moving equipment, and industrial conditions
• PPE required
