Job Opening: Rock Test Processor / Utility Laborer

Location: Stockton, CA
Schedule: Full-Time 1st shift
Pay: $19/hr

Position Summary

Express Employment is currently recruiting for a Rock Test Processor / Utility Laborer for a manufacturing environment. This role supports testing, general labor, and material handling tasks. We are seeking candidates who are dependable, eager to learn, and able to follow detailed instructions.

This is a physically active position performed at the client’s site in Stockton, CA.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and understand English (bilingual Spanish is a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
• Basic math skills; use of calculator acceptable
• Hand tool experience helpful (training available)
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently after receiving instruction
• Valid CA Driver’s License
• Ability to operate a forklift (training provided)
• Able to lift up to 80 lbs consistently
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform rock crushing tests from start to finish, including handling and disposing of samples
• Handle raw materials and process rock samples as instructed
• Clean and maintain test equipment and the work area
• Perform general labor tasks as needed, including menial tasks
• Complete required forms, inventory cards, and documentation (paper or electronic)
• Operate equipment and machinery per training and supervisor direction
• Maintain productivity by multitasking and staying busy throughout the shift
• Follow all company rules, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor
