We are seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate is experienced in both rough and finish carpentry, takes pride in high-quality workmanship, and can work independently or as part of a crew. This role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety and efficiency on the job site.
Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures using wood, plywood, drywall, and other materials
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job specifications to ensure accurate execution
Measure, cut, and assemble materials with precision using hand tools and power tools
Perform framing, trim work, door/window installation, and other carpentry tasks as required
Inspect work to ensure it meets quality standards and project requirements
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Collaborate with supervisors, subcontractors, and team members to complete projects on schedule
Identify and resolve issues on-site with minimal supervision
Follow all safety regulations and company procedures at all times
Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in construction
Strong knowledge of carpentry methods, materials, and tools
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform layout work
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
Good physical condition with the ability to lift, carry, and work in various environments (indoor/outdoor, hot/cold)
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or on a team
High school diploma or equivalent; carpentry apprenticeship or trade school training preferred
Experience with both residential and commercial projects
Ability to lead or mentor junior carpenters
Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
Ownership of personal tools
