Our client in Cedar Rapids, IA is looking for a Spot Welder (2nd Shift)!

Position Summary:
The Spot Welder is responsible for setting up and operating spot welding machines to place reinforcing welds on stainless steel and aluminum parts. This role involves reading blueprints and technical drawings, following work instructions, and ensuring quality production in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate spot welding machines
• Place welds accurately based on blueprints and technical drawings
• Follow work instructions for handling and processing parts
• Perform in-process checks to ensure product quality
• Complete required production paperwork and documentation
• Maintain knowledge of quality standards and safety procedures
• Inspect finished parts to verify conformance to specifications
• Communicate with team members and supervisors as needed
• Assist with process improvements and additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings required
• Entry-level position – minimal experience needed
• High School Diploma preferred
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to follow directions and work in a team environment
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and standing for long periods
• Basic computer and documentation skills

Hours:
• Monday – Friday
• 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Overtime available

Pay:
• $19.00/hour
