We are currently seeking candidates for a temporary Survey Caller project in the end of March - July. 

 

This is a temporary role, with potential for longer term placement with good performance and attendance.

 

Schedule would be 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday. You would need to work 32-40 hours/week, but schedule could be flexible. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Contact people by telephone and record responses to provided questions.
  • Make outbound calls and conduct household surveys and commercial studies that involve interviewing a manager or department representative.
  • Perform database or computer tasks in support of research surveys, such as check in-mail survey returns, enter survey responses into a database, and/or conduct address or telephone number look-ups using online resources.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three months experience as a telephone interviewer, supporting a survey research lab, in-person interviewing or census, call center, customer helpline, and/or other work involving computer-assisted telephone communications required. Six months experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication skills are required. The interviewer must be available for all shifts including day, evening and weekend shifts. Interviewers are seated on the phone for four hours or more a shift.
  • Ability to maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to record data accurately is required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to comfortably contact individuals to participate in a research study required.
  • Strong communication skills, with a friendly demeanor and ability to build trust with study participants is required.
  • Proficiency with basic operations of personal computer such Windows 7, Microsoft word, Excel, but training in interview ring-specific software will be provided.
