Pay: $15.00/hr
Shift: Full-time, 10-hour shift Monday – Friday, Saturdays as scheduled

 

Job Overview:
Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a local manufacturing company in Watseka, IL, to hire a dependable Assembler! You’ll assemble parts and subassemblies, inspect materials, and ensure everything fits together correctly while keeping safety and efficiency top of mind.

 

What You’ll Do:

• Assemble parts and subassemblies using hand tools or machines

• Position parts for proper fit and alignment

• Inspect materials and report defects to supervisor or quality inspector

• Work with other assembly stations to maintain production efficiency

• Read and follow blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions

• Follow all safety procedures to protect yourself and others

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

• Perform other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need:

• Keen attention to detail to ensure products fit together correctly

• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow work instructions

• Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment

• Excellent attendance and reliability

Education and Experience:

• Previous manufacturing experience helpful but not required

• High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

• Stand and walk for prolonged periods

• Perform repetitive hand and arm tasks

• Grip, tighten, and fasten small parts

• Lift and carry parts or materials weighing up to 50 pounds
