Key Responsibilities

• Inspect trailers to identify damage, wear, and mechanical issues
• Diagnose and repair brakes, suspension systems, axles, and electrical components
• Perform routine maintenance and preventative repairs
• Troubleshoot and repair wiring and lighting systems
• Complete structural repairs including flooring, doors, and panels
• Perform welding and fabrication as needed
• Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services
• Keep work area clean and organized

Qualifications

• Experience as a trailer mechanic, diesel mechanic, or in a similar mechanical role preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physical environment
• Valid driver’s license required
