Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Remelt / General Laborer for a well-established food manufacturing company. This is a physically demanding position ideal for someone who is reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced food production environment.

Schedule & Pay

• Starting Wage: $20.13/hour + Shift Differential
• Schedule: Variable schedule, approximately 40–48 hours per week
• Day Shift: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
• Swing Shift: 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm
• Grave Shift: 11:00 pm – 7:00 am
• Weekends and holidays are required
• Double time on Sundays!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform remelt duties and special production projects as assigned
• Sort, box, unbox, and handle food products and materials
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 55 lbs
• Complete general labor and production tasks as needed
• Work safely in hot, humid, and steamy manufacturing conditions
• Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), PPE, safety, and quality requirements
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced and physically demanding production environment
• Assist with additional production needs as assigned by the supervisor

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable performing repetitive and physically demanding work
• Ability to follow safety procedures, GMP requirements, and work instructions
• Able to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
• Comfortable working in hot and humid production conditions
• Ability to work a variable schedule based on production needs

Qualifications & Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs repeatedly
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
• Must be able to pass a physical/fitness assessment
• Must be flexible to work approximately 40–48 hours per week
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
• Previous manufacturing or food production experience preferred
