Kitting/Stockroom Associate

Position Summary: Support the manufacturing and production team by managing the stockroom and kitting process of components and materials. This includes receiving, organizing, storing, and preparing (kitting) parts and assemblies to support production schedules while maintaining inventory accuracy and housekeeping standards. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect incoming materials and parts.
• Verify parts against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Store items in correct locations in the stockroom or warehouse.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe stockroom areas.
• Prepare kits of components based on production orders or work instructions.
• Select items accurately according to kitting lists.
• Label and package kits ready for production use.
• Perform regular cycle counts and update inventory records in the ERP or inventory system.
• Adjust stock records and report discrepancies as needed.
• Pull and deliver kits or individual parts to the production floor or assembly lines.
• Collaborate with production supervisors on shortages or priority kits.
• Use barcode scanners or handheld devices for inventory transactions.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks when needed.
• Follow safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.

Typical Qualifications:

• Some experience in warehouse, inventory control, or kitting is a plus, but entry‑level candidates may be considered.
• Basic computer skills — familiarity with inventory/ERP systems or Excel helpful.
• Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to lift and carry materials.

 

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4pm
