Salary: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour

One of our premier clients in New Bedford, MA has an immediate need for a Welder to TIG weld custom fabricated parts. 

Hours: Full Time | Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 4:30pm 

Pay Rate: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour

 

Responsibilities:

·  Perform high-quality TIG and MIG welding on a variety of materials for custom fabrication projects.

· Read and interpret complex technical blueprints, welding symbols, and schematics to ensure components are fabricated to precise specifications.

· Identify weld defects (e.g., cracks, porosity, incomplete fusion) and document findings

· Maintain detailed inspection reports, records, and quality documentation

· Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications:

· Manufacturing and sheet metal experience; minimum 2 years of relevant experience

· Proficiency in both TIG and MIG welding techniques for a variety of materials and applications

· High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience

· Ability to accurately read and interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to fabricate components to precise specifications
