Position Summary

The Payroll Clerk plays a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing across multiple locations. This position also supports employee benefits administration and works closely with accounting and HR teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll, including monthly commissions

• Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with all applicable laws

• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner

• Respond to employee payroll questions and provide excellent customer service

• Process garnishments and wage withholdings

• Manage benefit updates including health insurance and 401(k) changes

• Coordinate with HR on employee leave and related matters

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of payroll experience 

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and follow-through skills

• Experience with payroll systems (Netchex is a plus)

• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Pay & Schedule

• $18.00 – $23.00/hour, depending on experience

• Candidates with 5+ years of payroll experience may qualify for higher pay
