Brief Description

s an Assistant Superintendent, you will support the Head Superintendent in planning, coordinating, and executing all construction operations and schedules to ensure project deadlines are consistently met. You will play a key role in maintaining adherence to health and safety standards, reporting any issues promptly, and helping to sustain a safe, clean, and organized job site. This position requires professional interaction with owners, engineers, architects, government officials, and the public, as well as collaborative engagement with other project representatives. While assisting, you will receive hands-on training and exposure to the full scope of construction management, preparing you to advance into a Superintendent role. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with project managers and the Head Superintendent on project plans, supervising field activities, understanding contract drawings, specifications, and regulations, inspecting subcontractor work for compliance, maintaining project records, assisting with job site setup and logistics, and supporting computerized project scheduling. The ideal candidate is proficient in blueprint reading, knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, punctual, adaptable, and a team player with leadership potential, eager to contribute wherever needed to ensure project success.
