We're hiring a Press Brake Operator to join a leading steel ceilings manufacturer in Johnstown, OH. This role is perfect for someone skilled in metal fabrication, blueprint reading, and precision forming.

? About the Role

As a Press Brake Operator, you will operate, set up, and adjust press brake machinery to form high-quality metal parts used in commercial ceiling systems. You’ll work with steel, aluminum, and various angled components — ensuring every part meets strict quality and safety standards.

? Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation

• Set up, adjust, and run press brakes according to job specifications.
• Select proper tooling, dies, and machine settings for each job.
• Form components from blueprints or work orders within required tolerances.

Quality Assurance

• Inspect parts using calipers, gauges, and precision tools.
• Record production, waste, and quality data.
• Maintain strict quality and safety standards.

Safety & General Duties

• Follow OSHA and company safety rules at all times.
• Keep work area clean (sweeping, debris removal).
• Package finished parts and assist with other machinery when trained.

? Education & Experience

• Press brake or metal fabrication experience strongly preferred
• Prior machine operator or manufacturing experience required
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and work orders
• Familiarity with metal types, fabrication processes, and tolerances
• Willingness to learn additional machinery (turrets, presses, benders)

? Work Environment

• Manufacturing plant (hot/cold temps, noise, dust, uneven surfaces)
• PPE required: safety glasses, ear protection, steel/composite toe boots
• Additional PPE provided when needed

? Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and handling materials
• Ability to lift 20 lbs frequently and up to 75 lbs occasionally
• Occasional kneeling, climbing, or crouching
• Must meet vision requirements for precision measurement
