Brief Description

The Metal Fabrication Quality Inspector ensures metal parts meet blueprints, customer specs, and quality standards through incoming, in-process, and final inspections. Responsibilities include measuring components with precision tools, inspecting welds, documenting results, managing non-conformances, and recommending process improvements. Candidates should have experience in metal fabrication or machining inspection, strong blueprint reading skills, knowledge of welding and metal forming, and effective communication. AWS CWI certification is a plus. The role requires working in a shop environment with standing and lifting parts up to 50 lbs.
