About the Role

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled and dependable Garage Door Installer to join a growing team here in Missoula. In this role, you will be responsible for the full installation, service, and repair of residential and commercial garage doors and openers. Prior experience is preferred, but we are open to training candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and a solid work ethic who are eager to learn and excel.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair garage doors and garage door openers independently
• Safely operate hand and power tools (drills, impacts, ladders, saws, etc.)
• Measure, lift, and properly position doors, tracks, and related materials
• Ensure all installations meet company safety, quality, and performance standards
• Maintain an organized work environment, including tools, truck, and job sites
• Provide professional, friendly customer service on every project
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues related to garage door systems

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs routinely
• Comfortable working on ladders, in garages, and in varying weather conditions
• Strong mechanical or construction skills (2+ years preferred)
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow detailed instructions
• Willingness to continue learning and developing installation expertise
