Warehouse Associate & Back-Up Driver (Full-Time)

Location: Vancouver, WA (98686) Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour

A well-established industrial distributor in Vancouver, WA is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to join their team. This full-time position is ideal for someone with strong warehouse experience, a safety-first mindset, and the flexibility to support occasional local deliveries as a back-up driver.

About the Role

This position supports daily warehouse operations including material handling, order picking, inventory organization, and general facility upkeep. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. When needed, this role also provides back-up driving support for local “hot shot” deliveries.

Schedule

• Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Start/end times may vary by ±1–2 hours based on business needs
• Overtime may be required

Work Environment

• Concrete flooring throughout the facility
• Indoor temperatures typically within 10 degrees of outdoor conditions
• 2–3 bay doors open most of the day
• Facility is not climate controlled
• Some outdoor work required (loading/unloading materials)

Key Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse
• Operate a forklift to transport and organize inventory
• Accurately pick and pull materials for customer orders
• Put away products and maintain accurate bin locations in the ERP system
• Safely lift and load materials onto trucks (up to 50 lbs)
• Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines
• Assist with general warehouse organization and distribution tasks
• Serve as a backup driver for local deliveries using a Ford F-250

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Willingness and ability to drive a Ford F-250 for local deliveries
• Experience with a 24’ flatbed truck is a plus (not required)
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
