We are hiring Laborers / Obreros, including Spanish‑speaking or bilingual English/Spanish candidates, to join underground natural gas distribution crews.
You’ll work outdoors helping install gas mains and service lines alongside experienced operators and foremen. Training provided.
Key Responsibilities | Responsabilidades
- Assist with installation of HDPE and steel natural gas pipelines
- Excavate and backfill trenches using hand tools and small equipment
- Handle materials, tools, and jobsite equipment
- Install tracer wire, marker balls, anodes, and related gas distribution components
- Support operators and fusion techs with pipe preparation
- Set up safe work zones; flag traffic when needed
- Maintain clean, safe job sites and follow OSHA safety standards
- Perform general outdoor heavy labor tasks as directed
Requirements | Requisitos
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (we use E‑Verify)
- Must pass a 10‑panel drug test and remain drug‑free
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle (work sites change daily)
- Must be comfortable working outdoors year‑round (Texas heat & winter cold)
- Able to work 50 hours per week, weather permitting
- Rain days may reduce hours to ~20/week
- Strong attendance (no more than 6 missed days per year)
- Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, bend, dig, and perform heavy manual labor
- Construction, trenching, utility, or gas distribution experience is a plus — but not required
Work Schedule | Horario
- 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday–Friday
- 30‑minute lunch at the job site
- Overtime available
- Job locations vary daily: Paris → Burleson → Fort Worth → Sherman → Garland → Celina
