Valve Technician

Located in Edmonton, AB

Salary: $29/hour

An Edmonton client is seeking a Valve Technician to join their team.

Valve Technician Highlights:

· Read and interpret shop work instructions, procedures, and technical documentation.

· Fully disassemble and reassemble industrial valves.

· Perform inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of valve components.

· Route valves to machining and welding departments for modification as required.

· Fit and reassemble valves after production and quality control processes.

· Identify required components and submit material requests to inventory control.

· Perform general shop duties including grinding, greasing flanges, cleaning, and preparation work.

· Assist in other production areas as needed through cross-training.

Requirements:

· 2+ years of experience in valve service or related mechanical experience.

· Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on ability.

· Basic computer skills.

· Crane and rigging experience.

· Forklift experience (sit-down and reach truck) is an asset.
