Yard Forklift Operator

Located in Edmonton, AB

Salary: $27/hour

An Edmonton client is seeking a Yard Forklift Operator to join their team.

Yard Forklift Operator Highlights:

· Operate 25,000–36,000 lb top-load forklifts and loaders to move pipe, lumber, and heavy materials.

· Unload containers and transfer material onto flat decks for shipment.

· Pull and stage pipe up to 40 ft long using forklifts or loaders.

· Perform precise placement of heavy materials in designated yard locations.

· Use grapples and forklift attachments for pipe and lumber handling.

· Organize pipe and lumber for staging, shipping, and storage.

· Maximize yard space through efficient container destuffing and material placement.

· Secure loads using chains, straps, and rigging as required.

Requirements:

· Experience operating large-capacity forklifts or loaders (25,000 lb+ preferred).

· Experience handling pipe, lumber, or long materials is required.

· Experience using grapple attachments is considered an asset.

· Ability to work outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions.

· Physically capable of performing yard work duties.

· Forklift or loader certification is preferred (expired certifications can be recertified).

Yard Forklift Operator Wage:

· $23-27/hour
