Position: Production Wirer / Assembly Technician
Location: Holtsville, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (40 hours/week)
Pay: $21/hour
 
Overview:
This is a hands-on wiring and assembly role within a smaller, close-knit manufacturing team. The environment is very team-oriented and “homey,” so personality fit is just as important as technical ability.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Wiring electrical components (power panels, fan assemblies, light kits, heaters, etc.)
  • Assembling components into enclosures
  • Performing final testing on completed units
  • Supporting additional assembly projects (including wireless components)
  • Maintaining organized workspace and documentation
  • Assisting with general warehouse tasks as needed
Requirements:
  • Prior wiring and/or assembly experience is required (not entry-level)
  • BOCES electrical or trade school background is highly preferred
  • Ability to read and follow schematics/technical instructions
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a smaller, team-focused environment
