Shift: Day Shift (Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Pay: $30 – $40 per hour (based on experience)

Job Overview

Express Employment is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join a make-to-order manufacturing team. This role involves producing small-batch, high-quality parts ranging from precision aluminum components to large steel frame weldments. The ideal candidate is highly self-sufficient, experienced in CNC programming, and capable of handling projects from concept through completion.

Responsibilities

• Determine machining processes, sequences, and tooling

• Program, edit, and adjust CNC machines independently

• Set up and operate CNC milling equipment

• Design workholding and tooling using CAD/CAM

• Inspect parts to ensure accuracy to 3D models/specs

• Perform secondary operations (drilling, tapping, deburring, finishing)

• Troubleshoot issues and improve processes

• Perform preventative maintenance and maintain a clean work area

• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams

Work Split: ~70% machining / 30% assembly

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 4+ years combined machining and CNC programming experience

• Proficient with 3D models and CAD/CAM software

• Strong setup, programming, and inspection skills

• 5-axis and lathe experience preferred

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
